It offers a more compact and unobtrusive fit, weighing only 9.5 grams and making it more than a gram lighter than its predecessor, SONNET 2. This reduction represents a remarkable achievement for such a small device. SONNET 3 includes advanced streaming options, a flexible silicone earhook for all-day comfort, and an intuitive touch key for easy control, allowing users to switch the processor to standby mode or change programs quickly. 

SONNET 3 sets a new standard in auditory innovation with its innovative features designed to enhance user experience and connectivity: 

Exceptional sound quality: SONNET 3 integrates Automatic Sound Management (ASM) 3.0 Adaptive Intelligence, advanced noise reduction, microphone directionality, and FineHearing sound coding. ASM 3.0 automatically adjusts settings in real-time to optimize hearing in various environments, while FineHearing delivers a richer and more natural sound by preserving the fine details of speech and music. These features provide users with a clear and natural auditory experience, ensuring they stay connected with the world around them.

Integrated wireless connectivity: With direct wireless streaming, SONNET 3 connects effortlessly to both Android and iOS devices. Users can stream music, phone calls, and other audio sources directly to their processor, enhancing convenience and usability without the need for additional devices.

Waterproofing* and durability: With an IP68 rating, the SONNET 3 is designed to withstand daily exposure to moisture, sweat, and dust. Users can engage in their daily activities without worrying about damaging their processor, ensuring reliable performance in various environments.

Optimized for bilateral use: For users with two cochlear implants, the MAESTRO software automatically assigns Bluetooth-IDs to each SONNET 3 audio processor. Once paired, the devices can stream audio in sync to both ears, creating a balanced and immersive auditory experience.

Enhanced digital features: SONNET 3 comes with enhanced digital features designed to improve user experience and convenience. The AudioKey app allows users to control their processor, locate it if lost, and monitor its status from their smartphone. With the Guardian Role feature, the hearing and audio processor settings of a child or a person being cared for can be monitored and managed directly from a phone. MED-EL is the only manufacturer offering this function, ensuring optimal use of the audio processor.
