MED-EL secures dual nominations at the European Excellence Awards

November 3, 2024 – (Innsbruck, Austria): MED-EL, a leading hearing implant manufacturer, has been shortlisted for two categories in the prestigious European Excellence Awards 2024, with the awards ceremony set to take place on December 6 in Berlin. This recognition showcases MED-EL’s innovative campaigns, which stood out among more than 700 entries for their impact and creative approach to public awareness.

The nominated campaigns are:
“A Life Full of Possibilities”
In the Health & Pharma category, this campaign, developed in collaboration with WE Worldwide and eye5, addresses parents’ concerns when their child is diagnosed with hearing loss. Through a mix of downloadable resources, videos, and case studies, the campaign emphasizes the potential for children to thrive with early hearing interventions, providing support and reassurance to parents.

Hearpeers: All You Need for Your Journey to a Hearing Implant
Nominated in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Communication (DEI) category, Hearpeers is a global community-building initiative for individuals considering or using hearing implants. Designed to foster empathy, trust, and belonging, the campaign supports individuals at every stage of their hearing journey, helping them overcome stigma and connect with others who share similar experiences.

All winners will be announced on December 6, 2024.
